Derby Landfill Goes Green With Large Ground Mount Solar Project

In 2015 Solar Landscape installed nearly 3,000 solar panels at the Derby CT landfill. By installing solar energy at no cost, the township has transformed formerly unusable land into an environmental asset that brings clean, renewable solar energy to the community. The 26 rows of solar panels will generate more than $1 million dollar in cost savings to the township.
