New Jersey’s First Community Solar Project

Located at 1000 High Street in Perth Amboy this 4.33 MW project generates 5.3 million kilowatt hours of electricity each year and power powers 700 local homes each. The project effect on the local environment is equivalent to removing more than 800 vehicles from the road each year. The project is a part of the Year 1 community solar projects awarded in the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities Community Solar Energy Pilot Program. The facility is owned by Duke Realty and they receive a quarterly lease payment from Solar Landscape for the twenty-year term of the project.
