Newmark School Saving Money by Moving to Rooftop Solar

Newmark K-8 and Newmark High School are state-approved, private schools located in a state-of-the-art facility in Scotch Plains, NJ. The school serves students ages 5-21 who are strong academically, but live with autism spectrum disorders, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, attention issues and other developmental disabilities.

In order to reduce electricity expenses for the school, Solar Landscape constructed a 324 kW DC system producing more than 380,000 kilowatt hours of electricity annually. The design, construction and maintenance of the system were completed at no cost to the school and they will purchase electricity from Solar Landscape at a 45% reduction from their utility pricing.
