Oneida County Goes Solar

New York's Oneida County turned two parcels of unused land into a 5.2-megawatt (MW) solar system at no cost to taxpayers. Solar Landscape installed a ground mount system consisting of more than 17,000 solar panels. The system is expected to save the county approximately $5.8 million dollars and protect them for future energy pricing volatility over the 25-year term of the agreement.
