Solar Landscape is building large community solar projects across the state. We are looking for a passionate, hardworking, bilingual professional with a background in the non-profit arena to join our team. As a Client Service Specialist, you will have the first contact with our customers, primarily non-profit organizations providing them with information about the community solar project including the benefits of going solar to the community and the cost savings they will be provided when they subscribe. You will work with our subscriber organizations to ensure after-sales support is provided. Your duties will also include working with our Director of Community Engagement to contact and meet with non-profit community partners for future projects. To ensure success of the Client Service Specialist, you should have excellent interpersonal skills, an understanding of solar energy and a passion for helping provide clean local environment. Ultimately, your success will be determined by how well you build rapport with customers and guide them through the process. Most of this work will be by phone but may at times require face to face meetings or community programs.
Handling in-bound customers calls
Providing clients with information about the community solar project (location – size scope and how the project will serve the local community)
Gathering information to accurately identify the needs of our community partners
Providing quotes, cost etc. and guiding them through our online enrollment process
Following up regularly with other members of the sales team.
Attending occasional events of our non-profit partners
Generating potential leads for new accounts.
Bachelor’s degree required. Advanced degree preferred
Professional appearance, friendly disposition and “can do” attitude.
Ability to relate technical information in layman’s terms.
Access to own vehicle for occasional travel (mileage reimbursed)
Basic knowledge of sales and Office Products. Outlook. Microsoft Teams
